Some of my favourite pieces have started as a phone call, a photograph, or a carrier bag of fabric someone couldn’t bear to throw away.

If you’ve got an idea — or a bundle of something precious — I’d love to hear about it. Commissions are where the magpie in me really gets to play.

What I can make for you?

• Memory bears and keepsakes — from clothing, blankets, or linens that mean something
• Backpacks, bags, totes, purses— sewn from vintage fabric, or from fabric you send me
• Crochet wearables — gloves, cardigans, and cosies in colours chosen by you
• Quirky one-offs — if you can describe it, there’s a fair chance I can make it

How it works

1. Get in touch – Send me a message with your idea, and photos if you have them. No idea is too vague — half of mine start that way too.
2. We chat it through – I’ll talk you through what’s possible, suggest materials, and give you a price and a rough timescale before anything is agreed.
3. Send your fabric (if you have some) – I’ll look after it like it’s my own, and I’ll tell you honestly if it’s not going to work before I cut a thing.
4. I design, create and make it – I’ll send you a photo or two along the way, so there are no surprises.
5. It comes home to you – Carefully wrapped, and posted or handed over in person.

Good to know

• Every commission is a one-off, so no two are ever quite the same.
• Timescales vary with the season — I’ll always be upfront about how long yours will take.
• If you’re working to a date (a birthday, an anniversary, a memorial), tell me early and I’ll be honest about whether it’s doable.
• Leftover fabric always comes back to you unless you’d rather I keep it for scraps.
